Summary
Tsubaki is a girl who loves making her younger sister's hair pretty every morning, but she doesn't think that kind of style suits herself! The day of her High School Beginning Ceremony, after she failed in being the top student (who usually makes the ceremony speech), she finds herself sitting next to the actual top student of the first years, the worst, rudest guy ever, Kyouta. She ends up cutting his hair on purpose because of the awful things he says to her. Kyouta demands that Tsubaki pays him back with her body, but Tsubaki fixes his hair instead--making it even shorter!
After that, Kyouta unexpectedly kisses Tsubaki and swears that he'll take away all her firsts.
 
My Opinion
I am so addicted to this manga that I really made a fan page of this. Yes, you read that right. I am the administrator of this famous page in FB. I never thought that it would reach 10k likes (and counting!). At first, I just made this page out of boredom but now, it has reached other Minami Kanan fans.
Who wouldn't be hooked by this manga? Aside from its superb art, the plot and characters are very realistic. In my opinion, what made this manga so popular is the fact that this is the first time Minami Kanan wrote such a romantic manga. Well, if you have read all of her works you'd know. Her past works doesn't focus on the character development but more on the smut side such as rape and violence. While this one, it took *spoiler alert* 50 chapters before something happened (the S word) with the lead characters. And what makes it so lovable is Tsubaki Kyouta. Unlike any other typical leading man, he is super close to the reality. He's not perfect, not rich, emotional, has dreams and ambitions in life, and most of all... he's duper in love with Hibino Tsubaki. This manga also has a live action movie which made it to the top 3. It's DVD was out last May 24, 2013 and is now available worldwide although English subs are not yet available.

Thank you for your review on Kyou Koi wo Hajimemasu, I didn't enjoy this story but I will admit that the art style/character designs are great and there are some cute moments between Hibino and Ryouta I hope it does get a full anime adaption shortly and is the fan page still available. Can you review Peach Girl, a shojo manga/anime that has a lot of drama, I would like your thoughts on it
